“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice.” (ESV).
Life can become so routine and mundane that we to lose our joy and excitement. Maintaining our joy and having a great attitude in life is dependent upon who we are focused on. As believers, we have to realize that we are in spiritual union with Christ. Our attitude and joy is contingent upon us knowing and understanding that we are connected to Him. We sometimes make the mistake of thinking that joy is a human emotion. Joy is not a feeling; it is the deeply rooted confidence that God is in control of everything for our good and for His glory.
Therefore, when we are focused on Him, our attitudes will be that all is well no matter what the situation is. Too many, place their joy in how they feel, if that is the case, we won’t have much joy because life is filled with so much hardship and disappointment. It is necessary for us to realize all what we have in Christ. He is our expectation and our confidence. Learn to make Him the focal point of our thoughts. “Again, I will say rejoice.”
Blessings to you!
