Good Morning! Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Genesis 50:20, which says,

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me: but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

Joseph, Jacob’s son had suffered many things at the hands of his brothers, because of their jealousy of him. However, every negative setback Joseph went through because of His brother’s dealings with him, God was behind the scenes directing the course of His life. He was elevated to second in command in Egypt.

We must come to understand that everything that happens to us, whether good or bad, must come by the hand of God first. He must okay it. Therefore, when we are dealing with struggles and hardships. God’s ultimate purpose is always for His glory and for our good. So, next time, instead of complaining, ask God for endurance and the ability to bear up under until He accomplishes in us His perfect will.
