Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Galatians 2:20, which says,
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ Lives in me. An the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (ESV).
When an individual places their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, He or she is then placed in spiritual union with Christ, which reaches back to His death, burial and resurrection, in which Christ paid the penalty of sin in full. Our old self has been put to death, and we are now new creatures in Christ. He takes up residence inside of us.
In our present physical state, we now live by trusting in Jesus Christ; who’s love for us compelled Him die for us. Therefore, we should be motivated to live for Him with great zeal and obedience, because of His great sacrifice in suffering the wrath of Almighty God for sake. Do not take lightly what He did for you and I. Live for Him. Let us give Him our best.
