Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Matthew 24:37-38, which says,

“For as were the days of Noah, so will the coming of the Son of Man. (38) For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark…”

The Bible says that “there is no new thing under the sun.” We are now going through those same experiences as they were going through in the days of Noah. The things that are going on now are mind blowing, and people are focused on too many things other than what matters. These are truly perilous times we live in. Many are not expecting the Lord to return at all; they couldn’t care less.

The thing that sadden me is the fact that many in the Church today have that same attitude. They proceed forth with the mindset of “everything is business as usual.” These are times we must take note of, and re-energize our love for God and His Word, our love for one another, and our love for the lost. We must not be oblivious to the signs that are happening all around us.
