Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Psalm 28:7, which says,

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts,, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.” (ESV).

We all face difficult and prolonged circumstances. It is during those times that the only thing we have to hold on to is our trust and confidence in our LORD.

Where we are in our spiritual maturity will determine how we handle the situation. Each moment we endure our crisis, we must not panic. We have to remember how big God is and His ability to sustain us during our intense struggle. When we know our LORD’s past record in handling our past troubles, we should confidently anticipate that He will hold us up and help us during our trial.

We must also remember, just because we are in a moment of hardship, we are to still praise and worship Him because there are so many things He is doing in our lives. Our struggles do not give us the right not to praise and worship Him.

May the LORD’s grace overshadow you
