Good Morning! Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Psalm 63:1, which says,

“O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

David found himself in a dark place. He was in deep despair. His situation was dire. We too, at some point in our lives will also find ourselves in a dark and gloomy place. It is during those times everything seems so dismal. David shows us how He was able to make it through his dark and desperate moments. He remembered God. He fervently sought to commune with the LORD while he was in his terrible place. And If we are to escape our despair, we too must earnestly long for our God with intense desire. We must remember Him and seek His strength to make it day by day.

We must also understand that we should never leave off from worshiping Him. In our dark, dire and difficult days, He is our only hope (Jeremiah 29:13).

May the Lord grant each of us His peace and strength.
