Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Psalm 18. In life we will all experience some crushing moments, dejection and hardship. Regardless of the circumstances it is imperative for the child of God to always know the sure footing we have in our Almighty God.

The psalmist David expresses his love for God because God is a sure foundation that has kept him in the most trying and dangerous circumstances. It is the same for us. God has continued bringing us through many dangers, toils and snares that were set up by the enemy for our demise. We must possess a strong confidence in Him and express our love to Him all throughout the day.

It is needful to do a self-examination to see if we are growing in our confidence in Him. If we are not, we then need to do something about it. “I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.” (Psalm 18:3)
