Today’s devotional meditation is taken from Psalm 138:7-8 which says,
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; you stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. (8) The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of Your hands.” (ESV).
Job truly declared, “Man who is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.” (Job 14:1, NKJV). Trouble is an inevitable reality. However, our peace and mental stability depends upon a close relationship and knowledge of our LORD.
Dr. Paul House stated, “How Christians think about God determines how they Think about everything else.” If you are reading this devotional, God has preserved you and I over and over again. He has pushed back the threats of the enemy. He has not held back His loyal love from us. He has always been there for us in every situation. Let today be the day that our love and devotion to Him grows deeper than ever before. It is because of Him that we are here.
