Today’s devotional meditation is taken from 2 Peter 1:3, which says,

According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue…

When an individual surrenders their life to Christ by believing in His finished work on the cross, His death, burial and His resurrection, they have been baptized into the body of Christ and are indwelled by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13). Jesus has taken up residence in that person. From that point on, he or she has been graciously endowed with all that is needed in order to live this life in godliness. We have Christ’s divine power enabling us to live victorious lives no matter what comes our way.

Therefore, there is no need to talk about needing just a little more Jesus. Colossians 2:10a says, “And ye are complete in Him…”¬†When Christ enters a person’s life, He does not give just a piece of Himself. He is our complete source of sufficiency to take us through this tedious journey of life in order to live a life that represents Him on this earth. You and I do not need just a little more Jesus, He has us and we Have all of Him.

Blessings to you in Christ!
