I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!
Psalm 34 is the Scripture for your Devotional Thought. We all have encountered many crisis, pitfalls, hardships, disappointments, opponents and difficulties in our lives. There remains one constant, the Lord has delivered or He is in the process of working something out in us to bring about a higher level of growth while delivering us. It is upon recognition of this fact that we must take the mindset of David, who say, “I will bless (praise) the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
In the struggles we face every day, it is so easy to lose focus of all of the many, many blessings and great benefits the Lord is piling upon us. We on many occasions, get a foul attitude because things become a little disrupted. You and I must never forget, that in order for trials and trouble to come our way, it has to get permission from God to do so. So that means, He keeps so many other things that can bring a final blow to us from happening to us. We must develop and embrace an attitude of thanksgiving because the LORD continuously heaps blessings upon us. I want you to thing about your ability to walk, to see, to breathe, to eat, to sleep. to have loved ones in your life, but most importantly, to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I love the way David puts it in verse 8, he says, “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
God’s grace and peace be with you always.
