……4 Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.[b] 5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.[c] Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning…..
Today is a wonderful day to celebrate our Lord and Savior. Your Scripture for today is Psalm 30, which is a psalm of David. In all of our lives we will face times we will need healing both physically and emotionally. There is only one constant that we can be assured of, and that is the Lord, our promise keeping God, is the only One who is able to heal us. David expressed that he would lift up the Lord in praise because of the victories He gave to David over the enemies that wanted to destroy him.
David recognized that it was the Lord that was his healer, and his encourager during his times of sadness and distress. He recognized that in all of our lives there will be sadness and tears that will last throughout the night, however, when the sun rises in the morning, Joy comes to give new expectations of God’s grace and mercy. Because of the fact that God has been, and is good to us. It is the utmost importance that we express our greatest praise to Him because of His goodness and His mercy and His loyal love to us. He has awakened us day after day and extended unto us great benefits. Even though we experience difficulty and hardships in life, it is not as bad as it can be. Even though we have times of sickness and sadness, He still sustains us and allows us to experience so many good things. Have a wonderful day. Keep the Lord first in your life.
