…8 The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. 9  Oh, save your people and bless your heritage!              Be their shepherd and carry them forever.

Good Morning!

Your Devotional thought for today is Psalm 28 where David focuses on his confidence in the Lord during his time of trouble from the hands of his enemies. David first of all cries out to the Lord in sincere prayer. He is lamenting his situation and asks the Lord to take deal with his enemies. However, his lament turns into a prayer of thanksgiving and confidence in the Lord his God. He begins to praise Him for His protection, and his confidence that the Lord will hear and answer his prayer.

I want to encourage you to have that same confidence in the Lord to hear and answer your prayer to him in your time of trouble and hardship. The same God who has sustained and delivered you in times past is able to do the same for you now, and I have found, that He is able to give you the strength and peace to hold up while you are waiting for Him to deliver you. As you study, pray and meditate on God and His Word, I pray that your trust will increase and you will gain the confidence to wait on Him in every circumstance that will arise in your life.

Blessings to you.
