….4   One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire[c] in his temple.  5  For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. …..

Good Morning!

Your Scripture for today is Psalm 27. There has been times when we have been in danger of some kind, either from someone or when we were driving in our cars. There were times we were oblivious to any danger at all. We must keep present on our minds the protection the LORD provides seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. We should be amazed at the constant care our LORD provides for us so that we will not be destroyed by the hand of, not only our physical enemy, but mainly our arch enemy who, “seeks to kill, still and destroy” us. David, with profound confidence proclaims in verse 5, “For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of troubled He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock.”

Call on the Lord daily to walk with you as you go through your daily goings and comings. Keep present on your mind that He is able to care for you better than you able to care for yourself. Lastly, walk confidently, that is, trust Him without wavering. Always remember, we serve an AWESOME God who loves us unconditionally and intimately. He desires to impart unto His children His loving-kindness.
