Another exhilarating day at NPBC! All praises to the God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to the YAYC and especially the Advisers for the YAYC Weekend Activities last Friday and Saturday. Thank you Denise, Tina, Chairman, Everett and Christina. Offering up Praise was outstanding. God bless. Stay tuned for a Neighborhood Outreach with the Christian Hip Hop Rappers & Others for this summer. I was greatly encouraged by the number of members that came out to Church School especially our Young Adults! I am proud of you because you all showed up yesterday. I know you will benefit from the great teaching from Deacon Monroe. The Lesson from Amos 8:1-6,9-10 was titled “God Will Not Delay Justice.” Yes, God is loving; Yes, God is gracious; Yes, God is merciful; Yes, God is patient, and in all of His attributes, He also is Holy and Just, and based upon that, He has to bring about justice when rebellion is not stopped. I want to encourage every member of NPBC to attend Church School. Shout out to a Wonderful Church School Staff under the Leadership of A T Monroe.
Shout out to the Transportation Ministry for faithfully making your appointed rounds. Be in Prayer for Bro. Sean Fuller who will be making his first solo run Sunday, July 5th.
What can I say about Morning Worship. I want to thank you NPBC for showing up with a joyful heart to worship the Lord our King. Welcome & Greeters, you continue to be a blessing and a welcoming presence for all who come into the church every Sunday. Ushers, thank you also for your faithful dedication week after week. The Worship service started out with the Male Chorus, as usual Doing an outstanding job in the praise period; and then to top it off you sang like you were losing your mind. God bless you. Everyone was in place, The Deacons, Mothers, Trustees, ASL Ministry, Nurses, Sound Ministry, Multimedia, Children’s Time with Jesus, Prayer Team, Outreach, VBS and the Ministers. To top it off, We thank God for Dr. & Mrs. Slade. What a great message and what a great song sung by Sis. Slade. Dr. Slade’s sermon was “Peace of Mind, Isaiah 26:3-4. A Powerful Message!
Looking forward to worshiping with you during the week. I am grateful for the opportunity of pastoring New Paradise Church. Thank you. I pray that all of you have a wonderful week. God Bless you!
Your Servant in Christ.
